Move Well Community Support

Move Well Physiotherapy in 2023 are pleased to continue supporting the local communities where our clinics are based.

However, we also support sporting clubs and associations further afield, such as Hockey WA, where we send our physios to help the Black and Gold in their pursuit of success in national competitions. Our physios have donated their time and cooking skills to the Ronald MacDonald House, support The Rotary Club of West Perth as well as the Lions Institute and will bend their backs gardening at the Dogs Home in Shenton Park.

Move Well Physiotherapy also offer prizes for graduating physiotherapists, and participate in research to improve the care of their patients. Move Well Physiotherapists live and work in your community and are passionate about their profession and helping others. Here are some of the charities and events we have recently supported, as well as some kind words from The Perth Special Children’s Party team.

“Dear Move Well,

Thank you for helping us give over 1800 amazing children the opportunity to attend the region’s largest Christmas Party for children that struggle with serious illnesses, special needs, disabilities or suffer from unique challenges in their lives.
The Perth Special Children’s Christmas Party was held at The Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre on Saturday the 23rd November.
The children were selected from over 150 local schools, government, community and charitable organisations.

John Lazarou of the Coffee Club and David Todd from Hit!92.9 hosted the party and kept the crowd pumped through the 3 hour stage show featuring local and national entertainers.
The children were treated to rides and entertainment, loads of yummy treats and new & exciting experiences.

The highlight of the day for the children was Santa’s arrival and being treated to Santa’s Toy room, where they each received 2-3 fantastic presents to take home.
Since the day we have received many messages from Mum’s and Dad’s that were overwhelmed by the generosity from people in the community who made this day possible for their children.

Highlights of the day can be seen on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/perthsccp

This day is fully funded by local businesses and organisations. We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our AMAZING sponsors, volunteers, and the team at PCEC – we couldn’t have done this without your support.”
